Say No To Colonialism!

It doesn’t matter how long I live l will never get used to the idea of accepting colonial rule. Yet I see many leaders of African and Developing World countries doing just that and selling their people’s interests to their colonial masters.

Anyone who opposes colonialism gets labelled something bad by the colonialists who are adept at marshalling public opinion against such individuals whom they deem to be working against the interest of world peace.

You see colonialists are nothing but liars, hypocrites and self righteous cretins. They speak with forked tongues, operate under double standards and serve their own interests.

They entice, engage or solicit your support by imposing economic sanctions on you if you don’t play it by their rules.

They come from countries whose national anthem carry lines like: “Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves, we will never, never, never be slaves”. Yet they themselves became ‘Great’ on the blood of other people they have enslaved and continue enslaving institutionally.

Colonial Cronies

Find me anyone who is actually happy with colonialist rule in their country and I’ll show you a slave, an apologist, a self-hating, uncultured, weak hearted, keen to be accepted, opportunistic, material-minded, arse licking Uncle Tom. Or worse!

Colonialists cannot lecture or dictate to me about democracy when they fabricate the conditions for phoney wars that kill many thousands of innocent people so that they can access that country’s oil and resources.

Colonialist cannot implore me on speaking out against Robert Mugabe’s mistreatment of his people, when they’ve got scores of innocent men locked up in Guantanamo Bay prison being tortured and persecuted over their different culture or religious views.

There is much more to be said, indeed, and a great deal to be done. In the end it is up to those who can see what is going on to take action.

I can only hope they won’t be sleeping when it’s time to be awake…
