I’ve reached the conclusion it is never a good idea to do business with an ignorant person! Especially one with bulging muscles, an aggressive manner and a boisterous temper attached to a short fuse!

At the least sign of trouble such a person will only want to settle disputes with his fists, feet or anything convenient that comes to hand.

It is of very little use trying to “reason” with such a person. Blinded by his ignorance, rage and the crazy desire to get justice through the jungle route, he will not be capable of hearing you, let alone be able to listen to anything you say. He is very similar to steam and he’s liable to blow at any moment.

This is exactly what I was thinking while I was before a client who somehow got it into his head that I had (or was trying to) rob or undermine him or something! The reality was that he simply did not understand a particular concept. Yet, no matter how much I tried to clarify it for him he just refused (or was incapable) of understanding.

In the end I had to walk away from him because it became increasingly aggravating and I actually started laughing at him he as got so increasingly agitated that he developed a stammer.

From that point on he had great difficulty getting out one word, let alone a sentence. Aw, well…

Isn’t communication grand?
